Miami Valley CTC Adult Education Division is pleased to announce the opportunity for qualified students to be awarded a grant to complete the Nurse Aide Training program (STNA) . If awarded the grant, the cost to the student to complete the class would be under $100. Please click on the link below to complete your application.
Overview: The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) has awarded funds to Miami Valley Career Technology Adult Division (MVCTC-AE) to provide need-based financial aid for MVCTC-AE students who are enrolled in short-term training programs. These last-dollar grants are for programs that can be completed in less than one year (or fewer than 900 clock hours) and culminate in the student earning an industry-recognized credential, license, or a MVCTC-AE certificate of completion. Grant amounts may not exceed $2,000 per student per fiscal year. Grants may only be used to cover program tuition and fees and will be applied directly to the student’s account.
Eligibility: MVCTC-AE students who are enrolled in an approved short-term occupational training program (less than 900 clock hours) that has a start date between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022 (see list of eligible programs in the grant FAQ section).
Grants are need-based and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and while funding is available.
