MVCTC Alumni Success Story - Emily Wethington Business Academy Class of 2015 from Franklin Monroe.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) with a Minor in Forensic Accounting from Indiana University East. She is employed as an Accountant with Lightner & Stickel CPAs in Troy, Ohio. Emily is working towards earning her CPA license.
How did MCJVS/MVCTC help you to be successful?
"In my program, I was able to earn college credit for the business courses I was taking through MVCTC Business Academy. This not only gave me a head start towards my college degree but also began my understanding of what a business career looked like. I took advantage of the Work-Based Learning Opportunities my senior year, which gave me valuable experience in the real world. Overall I greatly benefitted from the program and teachers, and it has helped me become the business professional I am today!"
