"MVCTC was always somewhere I knew I wanted to go. Coming from such a small partner school I knew it would be the perfect stepping stone into the workforce as well as college. What I didn't realize, were all the other amazing opportunities that would come with my enrollment here. While at MVCTC, I further developed my leadership skills, became a more eloquent public speaker, dove deeper into my love of agriculture and the FFA, obtained new workforce/ college related skills, and graduated as an MVCTC Student Ambassador with High Honors, all while learning in an industry based lab. None of this would have been possible without the truly inspiring students and staff here at MVCTC. While attending MVCTC I also got my first “real” job at the Iams facility in Lewisburg OH. With MVCTC’s amazing work program I was able to come to school half a day and work half a day, while still being able to participate in any student activities, and remaining eligible for the $3000.00 Sinclair scholarship. But even with all of that said, one of my proudest MVCTC achievements was going from the role of Student to Staff. I am now our MVCTC Satellite Department Secretary, and could not be happier with the where I work. I am truly proud to be MVCTC!"
