2011 Media and Video Production alumnus, Sam Newman, attended Edison State Community College - 2011-2013 (Internet Technologies), and
Franciscan University of Steubenville - 2013-2014 (Communicators Radio/Television). He will complete his SimpliLearn Masters of Digital Content Marketing Certification within the next year.

"Miami Valley Career Technology Center helped me in countless ways. It gave me the skills and knowledge I needed to be successful in business and life. I learned how to respect those around me and what working on a team means. I grew so much on a personal level at MVCTC. I was given the time to think outside the box and apply myself in ways I had never had before. With the skills, knowledge, and networking I had available at MVCTC I could think bigger. I was given the platform to be able to show my skills on a much larger scale than I ever dreamed was possible. In 2015 I started my own Digital Signage company called SmartCast Media. It was in starting this business I applied most of the skills I learned at MVCTC. These skills included: leadership, graphic design, videography, web development, content marketing and content management. I can tell you with the utmost certainty I would not be where I am today without MVCTC."
