“Lives are made up of choices. Most very small and a few that seem small at the time, but shape the whole course of your future. Attending MVCTC was the first of those decisions for me. I always loved art and being creative, so naturally that was my first reason to attend the Graphic Art lab. I expected to learn design, but I got so so much more out of MVCTC. Coming from a small school, I learned how to gain the confidence in my work and myself that I always wished I could have. I made countless friends that I still keep in contact with, some of whom I roomed with through college and have remained best friends with. I gained two incredible mentors that I love learning from still to this day. They taught me design, but more importantly how to be a great worker and how to be a part of something bigger than myself. MVCTC was the first step to my entire future. I cannot thank them enough for everything.”
