2015 MVCTC Allied Health Alumnus, Dominique Randle of West Carrollton, earned her Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in the Spring of 2018 (3 years post MVCTC Graduation) at the University of Toledo.  While attending the University of Toledo she was President of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. and Vice President of the Multicultural Greek Council.

Dominique is currently a Full-Time student at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Masters Entry Program in Baltimore, MD.

Dominique shared, "The MVCTC prepared me for success in insurmountable ways. By familiarizing myself with the rigorous college coursework provided to me my final years in high school, I was more than prepared to tackle the education plan for both a two year and four years, institution. The opportunity for professional involvement provided by the MVCTC is also to be highly regarded. Through my participation in HOSA, I was able to learn the responsibilities of upholding an organization, the hard work that goes into assuring duties are fulfilled, and the importance of student engagement, which was all skills that transferred into my Presidential and Vice Presidential roles of different organizations in college. Ultimately, the most valuable of lessons were taught by my Lab Instructor Mrs. Barnett. It was through two hours a day for two academic school years in her class that I learned the importance of professionalism, confidence in my competence, and most importantly, how to keep the fire of caring for others in their most vulnerable state burning. By being held to her high expectations, I, in turn, began to ask, and soon expect, the best from myself. I truly believe that my time at the MVCTC prepared me to attend the #1 Masters Nursing Program in the country, and leave a trail of humility and success along the way."
