Description

Technician Will disassemble clean, Inspect and reassemble vacuum Pumps using new seals, gaskets, & bearings. Bringing a Pump to meet or exceed OEM Specifications. We Service pumps for 17 different Manufactures and 7 types. AVC services sells and repairs simple diaphragm, rotary vane piston, scroll and ultra-High vacuum. Complete documentation and recording of repair will be entered into our database. Most pumps are Painted after repaired. Some packaging and boxing may be necessary for shipping. Basic Hand tools & PPE will be provided.

Skills

Knowledge of basic hand tools, Metric and American. Familiar with torque wrenches. Working Knowledge of Micrometers, Depth, Inside & outside Mic, Height gauges. Drilling, Tapping and blending of metals. Technicians need to follow manual instructions and read parts diagrams. The candidate must pay attention to details. Since small springs, clip, bearing & reed valves can be misplaced

Days / Hours

Idealy we need someone who can train in the evenings 5-9pm as those are the hours maintenance is done.. Once trained and proven to work on thier own we can Modify hour to DAY time. Progress and individual experience will determine shift change.
