Versailles, Ohio – On October 29th, several of the MVCTC FFA members and advisors participated in the Versailles FFA Color Run/Walk and Health Fair, to help support the American Cancer Society, making strides against breast cancer.

There were fifteen student members, three advisors, and two guests that participated this year, representing the MVCTC FFA. The event was held at the Versailles Board of Education building (old high school) and race track. Before and after the race everyone got to explore the health fair and several booths  with local volunteers in the high school gym. They also provided food and drinks for everyone who participated.

Before the run began, they also gave everyone the opportunity to warm up with a zumba instructor.  The race was then started, and, in the end, every one finished successfully. Awards were given out afterwards and three people from our chapter were awarded for their stellar times. Senior Jordan Sam, from the Retail Ag program, finished first in his age group and received a gold medal, as well as first over all!
