The Natural Resources seniors have been learning and practicing some very interesting skills. The past couple of weeks they have been practicing their hazardous material technician level course work.
Every year the Natural Resources seniors practice the donning of level A and B chemical protective clothing as a part of their hazardous material course work. They have been learning about hazardous materials and the steps needed to deal with them. They will be put in a simulation for an incident and as a class work together to solve the hazardous problem. Everyone who completes the course successfully can receive OSHA certification as well as Sinclair college credit for this portion of their high school curriculum.
