Shelby Clark, program coordinator for Central State University, School of Agriculture Education and Food Science visited campus today to share about educational and career opportunities in the areas of sustainable agriculture. Her presentation highlighted the history of land grant Institutions, current land grant philosophies and purposes and the impact that land grant institutions have in improving the quality of life for communities, farmers and students. She shared information with junior and senior level agriculture/FFA members in Natural Resource Management, Agriculture and Livestock Production and Retail Agriculture Service.
