Orlando, FL – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Chapter qualified to compete in the 40th Annual International HOSA Leadership Conference June 21-24, in Orlando, FL.
Maggie Lane, a senior in the Health Careers – Medical Lab program from Vandalia-Butler, placed 3rd in the National HOSA Life Support Skills Contest and
Deina Delgado, a junior in the Allied Health program from Tipp City, placed in the Top 10 for the HOSA National Life Support Skills Contest.
HOSA is a national student organization designed to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students.
