Englewood, Ohio -- Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Graphic Commercial Photography Alumnus Julienne Yoho (Miamisburg class of 2017) submitted a photo in May of 2017 for the SkillsUSA Champions Magazine Photo Contest. Julienne and MVCTC instructor, Troy Baker, found out on September 19, 2017 that her photo has been selected and printed on the Fall 2017 Edition of the SkillsUSA Champions Magazine.
“When last year senior photo student, Julienne Yoho from Wayne H.S., submitted this image for her Photojournalism assignment in May 2017, I knew it was an amazing image. It has a unique angle that simplifies the background of blue sky which compliments the yellow fire engine and balances the two students perfectly,” said Baker.
This is a great opportunity for Yoho to have a published photo and to receive recognition nationally through the distribution of the Fall issue of Champions Magazine. The MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapter also receive a $150 cash prize.
