Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) SkillsUSA Chapter 4 has held its first meeting of the year on Welcome Day, August 30, 2019 The meeting included introducing the new students to SkillsUSA, what SkillsUSA is about, SkillsUSA Summer Camp, and the introduction of the new SkillsUSA Chapter 4 officer team.

The meeting began with the introductions of our 2019 – 2020 SkillsUSA Chapter 4 officers. Then Tanner talked about the purpose of SkillsUSA as it is defined by its members throughout the four chapters of SkillsUSA. Christopher followed by explaining the creed of SkillsUSA. Jacob and Courtney shared the SkillsUSA emblem and what the colors of SkillsUSA stand for. Lastly, Alex shared information about official dress and the SkillsUSA Summer Camp.
This year the officers of Chapter 4 of SkillsUSA plan on making meeting all about being professional, teamwork, getting involved in SkillsUSA events, and advanced placement opportunities, which was explained by Mr. Kramer, MVCTC SkillsUSA Chapter 4 Advisor.
