For the past two school years, the MVCTC and Northmont school districts have successfully partnered in the Career Credit Lab (CCL), Robotics, and State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) programs. The information below is for the 2018-19 school year. Through the districts’ partnership, and the hard work of students and staff, many positive and life changing results for young people enrolled in the courses have been realized.
Robotics: 16 students in semester 1 and an additional 15 students in semester 2. 15 students passed both certifications in semester 1; 14 students passed both certifications in semester 2.
STNA: 1st semester 10 students. All received the certificate for nurse aide training. With this certificate they could get a job in an assisted living center, home care, clinic, hospital setting as a patient care technician. 2nd semester 9 students. 8 of those received the certificate for nurse aide training.
CCL: 20 seniors were enrolled—19 have now completed/graduated and one student is still working.
