INFORMATION ABOUT THE “NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE” EVENT-

On Friday, September 27th, MVCTC CTSOs will be holding a campus wide community service project.

We will be holding the 6th annual “No One Fights Alone” event to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as well as Dayton Children’s Family Resource Connections. The following donated hygiene items will be collected for Dayton Children’s Family Resource Connections:

  • Body wash       
  • Toothpaste  Baby lotion     
  • Deodorant      
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Tissues        
  • Lip balm     
  • Soap        
  • Baby wipes

The walk will take place in two different sessions. Juniors will walk from 8:50am to 9:30am. Seniors will walk from 1:05pm to 1:45pm.
Everyone should meet in the courtyard between the west and east buildings.

To participate in the walk, you must bring $1 and an item for Dayton Children’s Family Resource Connections:

  • Teachers please collect the money and deliver at Station 1 to Emily Powers or Paula Wathen.
  • Items for Dayton Children’s will be dropped off to FCCLA at Station 2.

Also clear, MVCTC water bottles will be on sale during lunches September 23-27 for $5.  The proceeds from the water bottle sales will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They will also be sold during the walks at Station 1.

Room 179 is reserved for those students not participating in the walk. They will be given an alternate assignment and will need their laptop.

Due to construction on campus, the route has changed this year and it is attached to this email. Teachers must walk with their students. Please remind walkers to stay in the right-hand lane while walking. The students will have several stations to stop and learn about LLS as well as Dayton Children’s.

Please remind students to dress for the weather. The high for the day will be 79.
