Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Veterinary Science students attended the Midwest Veterinary Conference on February 22, in Columbus.
According to the event website, “Hosted by the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the Midwest Veterinary Conference offers veterinary professionals and students the opportunity to attend 400+ hours of continuing education and wet labs provided by renowned speakers! The 5th largest veterinary conference in North America and the largest state VMA-hosted convention, the MVC brings together veterinarians, technicians, hospital and shelter staff, students, and industry professionals from across the country.”
Dr. Christa Nealeigh, MVCTC Veterinary Science instructor, stated, The Veterinary Exploration Conference exposes high school juniors and seniors and undergraduate students to the wide range of careers in veterinary medicine. The students attended mini sessions on Career Exploration, networked with current Veterinary Students, and attended Convention Hall highlighting current trends in the Veterinary Science field.”
