Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) senior Carly Hoskins was recognized at the March 2020, Northmont Rotary meeting as the Student of the Month. Carly completed the MVCTC Early Childhood Education program at MVCTC and graduated from Northmont. Carly is the daughter of Todd and Jill Hoskins of Englewood.
Carly was nominated for this award by her MVCTC Early Childhood Education instructor, Mrs. Alicia Newman. On the nomination form Mrs. Newman stated, “Carly is an excellent student and a well-mannered young lady. She comes to school each day with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. She participates in class discussions, is consistent with her work, and is always kind to others. Carly is serving as an FCCLA officer this year as well as participating in our MVCTC Internship Program by working in a local day care center. Carly is a fine example for her peers!”
Carly plans to attend college to study to be a teacher.
