The 2022-2023 SkillsUSA Chapter 3 Officer Team:
During the meeting we covered a variety of topics. Starting with introducing our chapter’s advisors, Mr. Baker (Photography Instructor) and Mrs. Massing (Digital Design Instructor). Each advisor gave a small speech to welcome the juniors and introduce them to SkillsUSA.
Following this, the Chapter 3 members were taught about what SkillsUSA is and how it could help them to get involved. Officers mentioned the upcoming Fall Conference (November 11-12) and how members could participate. Other upcoming events such as State Conference and competitions were also mentioned.
“We hope to have plenty of students get involved with SkillsUSA in the upcoming future. We are planning a lot of different activities and events for this upcoming school year. In the next meeting, dated November 2, we plan to introduce our regional officer candidates and their voting delegates.”
Officers are also planning a fun game based around the fundamentals of SkillsUSA where the members will be playing a Quizizz game to earn prizes.
“SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. We help each student excel.
