The Twin Valley South-MVCTC FFA participated in Preble County Ag STEM Day. Each school in the county was represented with select members from each chapter teaching 3rd graders through various agriculture-related stations. Fifteen members led the equine and ag technology stations and were group leaders for the 3rd graders. The equine station focused on teaching the characteristics of horses, accessories, and the importance of horses to agriculture. The ag technology station talked about GPS, reviewed a sprayer drone model on the market, and discussed how technology has developed in agriculture. Members had a great time interacting and teaching the kids about agriculture. Thanks to Brad Guckian from Apple Farm Service for providing the Ag technology equipment and teaching our students about each.
