Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students demonstrated innovation, collaboration, and technical skill during the 2025 Tech Prep Showcase, held April 8 at Sinclair College. Hosted by the Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium, the event provided students with the opportunity to present contextual learning projects that reflect the knowledge and hands-on experience gained through their Career Technical Education (CTE) programs.
The annual Showcase featured student-led projects across 15 Ohio career pathways, including Animal Science, Exercise Science, Natural Resources, Information Technology, Health Science, and more. Student teams of 2–5 participants delivered 5–7 minute presentations, evaluated by a panel of judges from education, business, industry, and labor. Projects were scored based on a detailed rubric covering research and development, work-based learning, academic and technical skills, professional relationships, and presentation abilities.
MVCTC students earned multiple honors across several categories, including a Best in Show award in Animal Science and Management – a testament to their dedication and professionalism.
