MVCTC FFA Chapter Holds First Meeting

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA Chapter held their first monthly meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 24, 2014.

 

The 2014-2015 MVCTC FFA Chapter Officers are:

  • President – Brittany Taylor (Ag Resource Management from Miami East)
  • Vice President – Alyssa McQuiston (Ag Resource Management from Preble Shawnee)
  • Secretary – Marilyn Thompson (Animal Care & Management from West Carrollton)
  • Treasurer – Emily Hunt (Veterinary Science from Tri Village)
  • Reporter –Alexis Pett (Veterinary Science from West Carrollton)
  • Sentinel – Ryan Helton (Ag Resource Management from Wayne)
  • Student Advisor –Kelly Kline (Natural Resource Management from National Trail)

Mrs. Christy Blauvelt and Mr. Mike Mullen are the FFA Chapter Advisors for the 2014-2015 school year. The MVCTC career technical programs involved in FFA are Agriculture Resource Management, Animal Care and Management, Diesel Power Technologies, Natural Resource Management, Retail Ag Services, and Veterinary Science.

According to the National FFA website, “The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.”
