Firefighter/EMS learning about fire streams

The MVCTC Firefighter/EMS program is now learning about fire streams and putting on quite a show in the parking lot. According to instructor John Shaw, "The last two days have been spent on fire streams, what kind of fire we use them on, and what kind of appliances it takes to get the stream we want, (e.g. hose size, nozzle type, hydrant pressures, etc.) We also practice how all this goes together and how we make those connections to our truck and make it work for what we are doing."
