What is CTSO Week? It is a week to celebrate Career and Technical Education and the amazing successes all of our Career Technical Student Organizations have on campus. Did you know we have eight student organizations on campus? Yes, Business Professionals of America, FCCLA, FFA, SkillsUSA (1,2,3 and 4), and HOSA. Every student at MVCTC is a member of one of these groups. This is a great week to learn more about what other programs at MVCTC are doing to prepare for career success!
Events Planned:
Dress-up Days
* The most important thing to remember is the school dress code MUST be followed during the dress-up days.
Pie-in-the-face - As a school-wide fundraiser for the American Heart Association a Pie-in-the-Face contest will be running the entire week. At lunch buy a heart 1 for 50 cents or 3 for $1 and place it in our CTSO box, the CTSO with the most hearts per CTSO member (yes we are using math to keep this all fair) will win the opportunity to throw a pie at the selected staff member. Each CTSO Officer Team has selected the staff member they want to throw a pie at for this contest. If our CTSO wins, a random heart will be selected from our box to be the person to THROW the pie. All money collected will be donated to the American Heart Association. The pie throwing will happen on Friday, February 19!
Heart Health Tips - HOSA officers will provide information regarding Heart Health during CTSO week
