CTSO Community Service Project September - FCCLA Blue Star Mothers
Last year during the CTSO Leadership meetings it was decided to assign a specific Career Technical Student Organization - CTSO to coordinate a community service program each month. Also, a monthly meeting with a student representative from each CTSO, would be held to communicate and collaborate regarding community service programs. This will help communicate the community service projects to the whole school and allow more students to participate. The first CTSO is FCCLA!
FCCLA is partnering with the Blue Star Mothers to send care packages to soldiers overseas. Blue Star Mothers mission statement is "While promoting patriotism, the Miami Valley Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. (OH3), supports our troops all over the world, our veterans, and each other."
We ask that you donate any of the items below. Bring donations to the SAC, or in the West, East, or South offices. There will be bins to put the items in. We will start collecting donations on September 26th and stop collecting donations on October 7th. Let’s all work together to support our troops!

Toiletries
- Toothpaste (md-lg tubes)
- Toothbrushes
- Deodorant (male & female)
- Unscented lotion
- Chap Stick
- Q-tips
- Sunscreen (lotion only, no spray)
- Hand Sanitizer (small bottles, no pumps)
Misc. Items
- Puzzle Books
Drinks
- Coffee-(small cans Only)
- Hot Chocolate
- Water Mix-ins (individual packets)
Food/Snacks
- Beef Jerky or Slim Jims
- Hard Candy
- Candy (chocolate-Oct-March Only)
- Nuts or trail mix (small pouches or tins)
- Cookies (small packs)
- Cheese or Peanut Butter crackers
- Microwave popcorn
- Microwave Soup Only
- Mac & Cheese (microwave ONLY)
